After two years of field work I completed a BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on hydraulics in 2013. I obtained my Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>From 2016 onward I have worked full-time on home and small commercial water storage systems. My work covers tank sizing, rooftop structural loading, pressure and float-valve issues, overflow and sediment problems, and basic treatment of well water containing iron and manganese. Over the years I have completed more than 180 residential tank projects.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"jm-bio-section\">\n<h2>Role on This Site<\/h2>\n<p>I write and review the practical guides related to residential water tanks \u2014 sizing, pressure, roof loading, overflow, sediment, hardness, and basic chemical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>These guides are based on field and engineering experience and are intended as planning aids only.
